Hello, Trailblazers!
Version 2.5 is now available for pre-installation. Trailblazers can follow the instructions below to pre-download some resources and enter the game faster after version maintenance. Due to the large size of the download, it is recommended for Trailblazers to download while connected to a Wi-Fi network.
▌Pre-Download Guide
■ PC
Open HoYoPlay. On the left side of the “Start Game” button, you will find the “Game Pre-Installation” icon. Click the icon to start the download.
※ While pre-downloading on PC, Trailblazers can continue to play the game.
■ Mobile (Android and iOS)
Launch the game. The “Resource Pre-Download” button will appear in the bottom-right corner of the login screen. Tap to begin pre-download.
※ While pre-downloading on mobile devices, Trailblazers are unable to play the game. Please plan your schedule to include pre-download time.
▌Special Reminder
■ The Crew has optimized the pre-installation function for mobile devices. Trailblazers can download smaller resource packages compared to previous versions and unpack the resources after completing the download. The Express Crew recommends that Trailblazers leave ample storage space ahead of time and proceed with the download while connected to a Wi-Fi network.
● PC pre-installation resource size is approximately [11.8] GB. The full storage space required is approximately [26.0] GB.
● Mobile (Android and iOS devices) pre-installation resource size is approximately [1.6] GB. The full storage space required is approximately [11.6] GB.
※ Should some resources fail to load in the process, the relevant missing resources will be downloaded. We recommend Trailblazers to leave ample storage space on your devices.
※ If you have downloaded voice-over expansion packages of different languages in your game, the space required for the pre-installation package will change accordingly.
■After the version update, mobile devices will still need to download the latest client to experience the new version content.
